HMRC has announced ‘imminent’ changes to the agent services account (ASA) homepage as follows:
the text of the ‘Track your recent authorisation requests’ link will be revised to clarify it covers authorisation requests made within the previous 30 days;
a new help & guidance page, collating helpful Gov.uk guidance for agents will be added in the collapsible list of options for MTD for VAT, and two new links will be added for ‘copy across your authorisation’ and ‘requesting an authorisation’; and
the trusts and estates collapsible options lists will also be updated, with a new ‘Ask your client to authorise you’ link added to various trust pages.
