On 12 May, Canada, Iceland, India, Israel, New Zealand and China signed the multilateral competent authority agreement for automatic sharing of country-by-country reporting information, bringing the total number of signatories to 39 countries. Israel and the Russian Federation have also become the 81st and 82nd signatories to the key CRS multilateral competent authority agreement.
Bahrain, Lebanon, Nauru, Panama and Vanuatu have committed to sharing financial account information automatically with other countries by 2018, in accordance with the common reporting standard.
