Qatar has become the 115th signatory to the multilateral convention on mutual administrative assistance in tax matters. The convention provides all forms of administrative assistance in tax matters, including exchange of information on request, spontaneous exchange, automatic exchange, tax examinations abroad, simultaneous tax examinations and assistance in tax collection.
The Maldives, Qatar and Saint Kitts and Nevis have joined the OECD’s inclusive framework on BEPS, bringing to 106 the total number of countries and jurisdictions participating on an equal footing in the project.
