Advising on company reorganisations is a key area for many tax advisers (whether acting for small family-owned companies or large listed public companies) and a further textbook on the subject is welcomed. However it should be noted that as admitted in the introduction this one is aimed at the owner-managed business and its adviser and material likely to be of interest to public companies and their advisers is 'conspicuous in this book by its absence'.
