In a Budget which was remarkable mainly for its lack of excitement and new initiatives there was very little aimed specifically at the property industry. We should perhaps be grateful for a respite from the barrage of changes that we have seen in recent years. Of course a number of the broader changes will affect property and property owners and I will draw attention to some of these. However generally speaking there was little that could not have been predicted or had not indeed already been announced.
