HM Treasury has updated its guidance on submitting representations for Autumn Budget 2017, inviting submissions by 22 September. The government has not yet confirmed the Autumn Budget date.
Although the date of Autumn Budget 2017 has not yet been confirmed, the government has opened the Budget representations portal earlier than usual to allow more time for HM Treasury to consider submissions, which may also feed into the policy-making process for Spring Statement 2018. The guidance confirms there will be no separate representations process ahead of the Spring Statement.
Members of the public should submit representations via a short online survey. Organisations or others who would prefer to submit representations as a file attachment may do so by email to budget.representations@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk.
