Business tax: Paper tax returns

Business tax: Paper tax returns

HMRC will not issue paper company tax return forms and guidance notes with the 'Notice to deliver a Company Tax Return' (form CT603) after the end of this month. Paper forms are sent to companies and organisations that do not have a tax agent and do not use approved substitute returns. 'From 1 April 2011 onwards all companies and organisations must submit their Company Tax Returns online for any accounting period ending after 31 March 2010 ' HMRC said. 'You'll still be able to download and print the forms from the HMRC website after 1 July 2010 but you'll have to submit your return before 1 April 2011 if you want to use paper for any accounting period ending after 31 March 2010.'
