HMRC has published new guidance confirming that the corporation tax online service will be updated in April 2022 to support claims for the following allowances:
super-deduction and 50% first-year capital allowances for qualifying expenditure on plant and machinery;
enhanced structures and buildings allowance in freeport tax sites; and
enhanced plant and machinery allowances in freeport tax sites.
Before then, companies will need to claim the allowances using existing the capital allowances boxes in the CT600.
