HMRC has invited comment on three sets of draft regulations intended to implement changes set out in the January 2012 consultation on contractual schemes for collective investment.

HMRC has invited comment on three sets of draft regulations intended to implement changes set out in the January 2012 consultation on contractual schemes for collective investment.

Comments are invited ‘as soon as possible’ but no later than 3 September. HM Treasury will host an open session to discuss the reforms on 29 August.
 
Budget 2011 announced the introduction of a new ‘tax transparent fund’, an asset pooling vehicle, to facilitate the setting up of pooled ‘master funds’ under the UCITS IV Directive.
