Although this article is appearing in The Tax Journal the payment saving or structuring of tax is not its main argument. Instead I shall be looking at ways in which the entire employee experience can be refreshed and employer brand enhanced. Of course some of the ideas that you read here will be tax-efficient and where a taxable benefit arises this will always be signposted. But for once let's take our 'Tax Head' off and think about employee reward from a holistic perspective.
