Treasury consultation on design of each tax relief closed last month
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is seeking views on proposed tests to identify culturally British animation, video games and high-end television that might be considered eligible for new corporation tax reliefs.
Budget 2012 announced that, subject to EC state aid approval, tax reliefs would be introduced from April 2013 to ‘support technological innovation and help the digital, creative and other high technology industries’.
HM Treasury’s consultation on the design of each tax relief closed on 10 September. The DCMS consultations will close on 29 October.
