The Customs (Tariff etc) (Amendment) Regulations, SI 2021/380, make a number of changes to reflect the latest updates to the commodity codes for the classification of goods under the UK global tariff. The framework for the classification of goods imported after the end of the Brexit transition period has been subject to frequent revision since 1 January, although the actual tariff rates which are applied under the framework have remained the same. The regulations come into force on 14 April 2021.
