When I penned my annual tongue in cheek letter to the Chancellor 'Dear Gordon' Issue No 686 31 March 2003 I little realised my slight irritation then voiced about the Pension Service and payment of my old age pension (OAP) would become as exasperating as it has subsequently. I thought it may therefore be helpful to others to record events as they unrolled between myself and the DWP since January 2003 as there must be other pensioners some of whom together with their advisers will read this article and may also feel that the DWP should be doing a better job in paying...
