The dust has settled on George Osborne’s fifth Budget. It has ensured that it takes its place in the roster of memorable Budgets with a big shake-up of pensions. For good or bad and I think mainly good liberating millions of people (over time) from the requirement to buy an annuity on retirement will make a big difference.
Adding to that another eye-catching move – increasing the annual ISA limit to £15 000 and removing the restriction on the proportion of that which can be put into cash – meant that the chancellor was able to get plenty of good headlines which...
