Resuming on Thursday 15 May the Committee began by agreeing Clauses 10 (rates of tobacco products duty) 11 (rates and rebates) and 12 (biodiesel and bioblend) together with Schedule 5 (biodiesel and bioblend). Clause 13 (rates and rebates) gave rise to a debate on oil prices but was eventually agreed. The Committee then turned to Clause 14 (fuel for aircraft and boats etc.) and Schedule 6 (aircraft and boat fuel). The Exchequer Secretary commented:
