The Greek cabinet approved a Bill on 27 September 2010 providing for a new tax amnesty for the settlement of ‘unaudited tax filings and arrears’ going back ten years. The amnesty will enable individuals to pay 20% of the outstanding tax debt up front, with the remaining 80% spread over a maximum period of two years, payable in monthly instalments.
