The 2006 Review of Links with Large Business set a clear direction for the way HMRC wanted to work with its large business customers. It transformed how we worked and stressed the importance of building better relationships based on trust and transparency as the key to delivering a more effective and efficient tax administration. Businesses and their representatives have told us that (whilst there is more that we can do) we have made significant progress in developing our relationship with our large business customers enabling us to focus on the most significant tax issues.
