How to supercharge tax functions with Generative AI

Few technologies have generated as much interest in the public domain as Generative AI (GenAI). On the face of it this technology promises to significantly disrupt and transform parts of society. The key question is: what will it mean for tax?

Firstly the nature of our work means that tax will be particularly susceptible to disruption by GenAI. Secondly instead of leading to large scale job losses GenAI will likely supercharge tax professionals in their existing roles making them much better at what they already do. Thirdly  upskilling on effective use of this technology is essential. GenAI won’t replace you but someone using it might.
