It is overegging the pudding to claim that there was a single theme to this year's Indirect Taxes Conference which took place at the Hilton in London's Park Lane on Thursday 20 September. Neither however would it be misleading to say that the demise of indirect tax planning was a recurring motif throughout the day. In this report I will therefore take that subject as my guiding light.
