HMRC has decided to give taxpayers with offshore investments more time to come forward under the New Disclosure Opportunity (NDO).
The registration deadline has been moved from 30 November to 4 January 2010 because some banks have not yet contacted their offshore customers.
Whilst the registration deadline has been extended the disclosure deadlines have not and remain 31 January 2010 for paper disclosures and 12 March 2010 for online disclosures.
