The Times reports that HMRC has indicated it will be charging five people with cheating the public revenue in connection with Gift-Aid-related tax-saving schemes.
 
The Times names Vantis managing director Roy Faichney and his deputy David Perrin. Vantis has issued a statement saying:
 
'David Perrin and Roy Faichney employees of Vantis Group will be strenuously defending any charges brought against them'.

'… has decided to refer the United Kingdom to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for improper implementation of the ECJ...
