Transfers of income streams
HMRC has issued the following update:
'Following publication last November of a further HM Revenue & Customs/HM Treasury (HMRC/HMT) consultation document on principles-based legislation an “open day” was held on 23 January to discuss with interested parties the draft legislation relating to transfers of income streams.
'Attendees at the open day raised a number of concerns about how the legislation would operate in practice. As a result it was agreed that a second open day will be held in February....
