How did you end up in transfer pricing?
My background is in engineering and biotechnology. While advising clients on more technical topics I developed an interest in business optimisation and transfer pricing became a constant element in my discussions with clients. I was offered the opportunity to join the TP team at a big accountancy firm and my interest for TP developed and turned into a real passion.
Who in tax do you most admire?
Barry Cannings (VP of tax at Tate & Lyle) has been a great mentor during my time spent in industry. He taught me to be hands-on and not just to think about tax. I am also very impressed with Kevin Ashman (a tax partner at Hogan Lovells) for his breadth and depth of experience knowledge and wisdom on most tax matters ...
