What is the biggest practical problem you face in your role on a day-to-day basis?
The biggest practical problem I face is that VW is a massively diverse organisation and as such each area has its own VAT considerations.
What is the decision in your recent working life of which you are most proud?
Deciding to ask the VWFS Board of Management for approval to appeal against HMRC’s stance on its treatment of hire purchase transactions. Our win in the First-tier Tribunal was justification of this decision.
