I have had the privilege of working with many great people in the tax world and it is difficult to single out people without being invidious. But for me Dr Jeffrey Owens really stands out. In his role as director of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD he led the work on taxation; and it was under his leadership that the OECD set the global standards on tax treaties and on transfer pricing that are key to us today.
