How did you end up in tax?
I chose the ‘tax’ option in my third year of law at University and found that I enjoyed it and was good at it. So I wrote to Herbert Smith (with whom I had articles) asking if I might do a tax seat. Clearly this was an unusual request as they jumped at it! And so I spent the first six months of my working life in tax and have never looked back.
Who in tax do you most admire?
My PA for putting up with me on a daily basis!
