On 9 August 2002 Paul de Voil died. His family and many friends far and wide grieved in their loss but they have all inherited an immortal memory.
 
A Requiem Mass and Service of Thanksgiving was held at the Collegiate Church of St Nicholas Denston in the depths of the glorious Suffolk countryside on August 21.
 
It was indeed an occasion of thanksgiving for the life of a man who was a priest in the Church of England and from whom love and kindness had flowed towards all with whom he had contact and who brought dignity humour understanding and above all fellowship into the somewhat...
