Andrew Tyrie Chairman of the Committee told BBC Radio 4's World at One that there was ‘a strong case’ for Hartnett to explain to Parliament HMRC’s handling of PAYE over and underpayments.

Dame Lesley Strathie HMRC’s Chief Executive and Bernadette Kenny Director General Personal Tax will also appear.
