The government has published a raft of regulations in relation to the ending of contracting-out and the introduction of the new state pension from 6 April 2016.
· The Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Modification of Schemes – Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations, SI 2016/231;
· The Pensions Act 2014 (Contributions Equivalent Premium) (Consequential Provision) and (Savings) (Amendment) Order, SI 2016/252;
· The State Pension (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations, SI 2016/240; and
· The Pensions Act 2014 (Abolition of Contracting-out for Salary Related Pension Schemes) (Consequential Amendments and Savings) Order, SI 2016/200.
