Chris Morgan has been appointed Head of Tax Policy at KPMG in the UK, succeeding Anneli Collins who becomes Global Head of M&A Tax.
Morgan (pictured), a regular contributor to Tax Journal, has been an international corporate tax partner with KPMG for the past 13 years.
‘Tax policy can be a real driver of growth and in these difficult economic times regulators, governments, taxpayers, advisers and all stakeholders need to work together,’ he said. ‘Getting the balance right between raising sufficient revenues for the public coffers whilst still encouraging wealth creators to live, work and do business in this country is crucial.’
