The law firms Pinsent Masons and McGrigors confirmed plans to merge following a partner vote. The combined firm will operate worldwide under the name and brand of Pinsent Masons from 1 May. It will employ over 2,500 people including more than 1,500 lawyers, 500 of whom will be based in Pinsent Masons' international HQ in the City of London.
