The tumultuous economic changes we have all experienced over the last 18 months have created a level of uncertainty and insecurity in the tax profession not seen since the recession of the 1990s. Unfortunately we have all seen the fallout from these conditions in the form of redundancies and increased pressure on the remuneration and retention of staff at all levels across all tax specialisms and across the majority of industry sectors.
