The December 2006 Pre-Budget Report includes a lengthy paper 'Tackling managed service companies' which sets out the Government's plans to create a new legislative framework that will only apply to what are referred to as managed service company (MSC) schemes. Although the document makes reference to creating a level playing field it appears that instead the Chancellor has blown the whistle taken the ball and closed the pitch!
