There is no single branch of law dealing with the issues which arise on termination of employment. Rather in any individual case one or more branches of law may be relevant such as contract law unfair dismissal discrimination (sex race disability religion/belief sexual orientation) equal pay trade union pension rights company law (protection for minority shareholders) defamation personal injury (for example stress) tax law and possibly others depending upon the circumstances.
