The 19th annual IBC Conference on Advanced Corporate Tax Planning was held in London on 12 June 2003. This was well-attended and dealt with some of the most important current issues in taxation. There were seven different speakers in the course of the day all of whom succeeded in giving lively and thought-provoking presentations.
 
The Chairman was Patrick Way of Gray's Inn Tax Chambers. The first speaker was Philip Baker QC also of Grays Inn Tax Chambers. In his usual ebullient style he dealt with recent European Court of Justice (ECJ) decisions. He mentioned that a similar talk at...
