The government’s VAT deferral new payment scheme will open on 23 February and close at the end of 21 June 2021. The scheme will allow businesses to pay the VAT they deferred under the covid deferral scheme in up to 11 instalments, interest free. The repayment scheme will be available online and can only be operated by businesses themselves (rather than by agents).
