HMRC has issued a reminder to businesses trading above the VAT registration threshold, but who have not registered for VAT, that they have until 31 December 2011 to complete the VAT registration process under HMRC’s VAT initiative campaign. Businesses opting to participate were required to notify HMRC of their intention to disclose by 30 September 2011.
