HMRC’s chief executive, Lin Homer, sets out the vision for the department for the year ahead
For everyone at HM Revenue and Customs 2015 is about building our future.
We began telling staff about our long-term vision last year holding around 700 face-to-face sessions where 55 000 employees heard and discussed our idea of what we think HMRC will be like in 2020/21. Now we’re midway through the second phase of that ‘building our future’ programme – providing more detail about how we will achieve that vision.
More than anything the future for HMRC is one where we genuinely put customers at the heart of how we design and deliver our services. We aim to improve the services we offer them and their overall experience of HMRC.
