Dame Lin Homer DCB is a qualified lawyer with many years’ experience as a chief executive in local and central government, including Suffolk County Council, Birmingham City Council, the Home Office and the Department for Transport. As HMRC’s chief executive and permanent secretary, Lin is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the department. Lin was named a Dame Commander of the Order of the Bath in the 2016 New Year’s honours list.
