As we woke up on Friday to a hung parliament many people may have wondered what this actually meant for us and our economy. After all this is the first hung parliament since 1974 and now the first coalition government for 70 years. So most of us are too young to really remember what this means. It is clear for example that there are some hard decisions still to be made on tax with plenty more debate to come. And there are some key areas such as corporation tax where the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats have previously had very different views. So where do we think the coalition government will end up on tax policy?
