There has been much emphasis in the media about the unattractiveness of the UK's tax system for holding companies. The recent flurry of articles in the press surrounding the 'exodus' of a number of companies from the UK including Shire Henderson and WPP seems at first sight to be signalling the demise of the UK as a holding company jurisdiction.
