The OECD Forum on Tax Administration’s Inventory of Tax Technology Initiatives (ITTI), launched together with eight partner organisations, brings together information on digital tools used by 76 tax administrations around the world.
The OECD sees this new web-based inventory as ‘an important tool for tax administrations globally, helping to identify opportunities for significantly reducing both tax gaps and administrative burdens’.
In addition to providing a snapshot of the implementation of particular tax technology tools and approaches, ITTI will be further developed in a second phase to include multiple case studies and links to a wide range of supporting materials, providing a one-stop shop for tax administrations and other stakeholders on digitalisation initiatives.
