UK tax professionals have to manage ever-increasing levels of legislation regulation and practice and the burden shows no sign of abating. The size of the annual Finance Act increases from year to year and by the time we factor in case law Statements of Practice Statutory Instruments and other Inland Revenue 'clarification' (not to mention consultations and draft legislation) it seems completely overwhelming.
