The last decade has witnessed a marked increase in the used of fund vehicles for property investments. At the end of 2001 it is estimated that around £16 billion of UK property was held in collective vehicles. However this popularity is not as a result of the emergence of an appropriate vehicle but rather is a reflection of changes in the real estate market and in investor preference.
