In December, a further 350 bilateral agreements for the automatic exchange of CRS information were activated, bringing the total to more than 1,300.

In December, a further 350 bilateral agreements for the automatic exchange of CRS information were activated, bringing the total to more than 1,300. Most of these are based on the multilateral competent authority agreement, with others using arrangements such as the EU framework, or the UK's Crown dependencies and overseas territories agreement. Two more rounds of activations are scheduled to take place in March and June 2017, before automatic exchange begins in September 2017.
