HMRC has launched a consultation to explore issues arising from the implementation of a Code of Practice on taxation for banks (see www.lexisurl.com/h4PFn). The consultation is open for comments until 25 September 2009. An Impact Assessment has also been published. The draft Code is reviewed in an article by Sara Luder on page 7.
