Under its policy of ‘making it easier for HMRC customers to deal with their taxes’ HMRC has announced a new helpline for taxpayers affected by the recent floods. The helpline will be able to offer a wide range of advice to taxpayers including:

  • agreeing instalment arrangements where taxpayers are unable to pay as a result of the floods;
