The trend for hiring specialist in-house transfer pricing expertise has proved invaluable particularly in countries now entering a secondary phase in the evolution of transfer pricing enforcement.
The demand for professionals with experience in developing robust defence strategies negotiating with tax authorities and delivering sophisticated commercial solutions has never been higher. Whilst the desire to reduce the reliance and cost of external consultants has impacted positively on hiring activity in MNCs this has not necessarily resulted in the creation of permanent positions.
