HMRC has updated its coronavirus statutory sick pay rebate scheme guidance to cover claims for extremely vulnerable employees who have been advised to shield. The section of the guidance setting out what employers can claim has been updated to include claims for employees who have been advised by letter to shield because they are clinically extremely vulnerable and at very high risk of severe illness from coronavirus.
