The chancellor has announced plans to deliver his Budget on Wednesday 6 November 2019, provided the UK leaves the EU with a deal on 31 October. If there is no deal, the Budget would be postponed for a few weeks.
‘This will be the first Budget after leaving the EU’, the chancellor said, adding that he would set out the government’s plan ‘to shape the economy for the future and trigger the start of our infrastructure revolution’.
